The Memorial Hall sits in the heart of Beech Hill village, conveniently located five minutes from junction 11 of the M4, providing one of the most attractive and reasonably-priced venues in the Reading area.

The villages of Grazeley, Mortimer, Spencers Wood and Stratfield Saye are all within about ten minutes of Beech Hill. The hall offers superb modern facilities in a tranquil local setting for a wide range of events, meetings, family celebrations and other cultural activities.

Bradfield Village Hall is a traditional multi-purpose hall that can accommodate up to 120 people in the main hall and approx. 20-25 in the committee room. With a fully equipped kitchen, large outdoor grounds and plenty of parking, we cater for all sorts of clubs and events. The Brookvale Village Hall on Lower Brook Street was built in 1983 (and later extended in 1987). Since then, it has played an important role in maintaining the community spirit Brookvale is renowned for. It is a central focal point for the community, and plays venue to the majority of BCA-organised events. The entire Hall was renovated after an arson attack destroyed a large part of the building in 1999. Caversham Hall is a two-hall venue situated in lower Caversham whose aim is to provide people – regardless of race, colour and creed – a safe, welcoming community space, available to hire at a very reasonable rate. Caversham Hall is a registered charity (no. 234438) which is run and maintained by the Trustees of Caversham Hall, all of who give their time on a volunteer basis.

The Ridgeway Centre is a community hall used for a wide range of activities. It has a seating capacity of 200 in the main hall but also has a meeting and youth room suitable for smaller groups.

The fees include the use of the kitchen and all crockery and cutlery. Tables and chairs are included but these must not be removed from the Village Hall. The electrical appliances including the cooker, water boiler, other sockets and overhead heaters require £1 in meter as per usage. The Village Hall has a PRS Licence for music but hirers must obtain a temporary events notice (TEN) if they intend to sell alcohol. This is available from SODC and can be purchased online. A modern chalet-style two storey building completed in 2004 and owned by All Saints Church Workingham, in whose grounds it is located. Once a farm, the Viables site is an attractive and peaceful haven within the busy town. The halls and rooms we offer for hire were once barns and bull pens, so we can offer an attractive setting for your special occasion - weddings, birthday and anniversary celebrations, and children's parties.
