Halwill Parish Hall was built in 1995, The main hall is very spacious with a high ceiling suitable for badminton etc. It has tables and chairs sufficient to accodate a function of up to 100 people although the kitchen facilities are limited. There is disabled access and a disabled toilet. There is also a snooker room with two full size tables.

The hall has disabled access and a disabled toilet. In the entrance foyer there are hooks for hanging coats. There is a stage with stage lighting on a gantry suspended from the ceiling. A large screen can descend from the front of the stage and there is a projector which can be controlled from a laptop. The premises has central heating. The Ockment Community Centre is based in the centre of Okehampton. We have a variety of rooms for hire which all vary in size to suit arrange of requirements. We have a large hall with kitchen ideal for bigger meetings, functions, exercise classes and special occasions. The Hall is self contained with its own kitchen and toilets. OXHAM HALL is a thriving rural community hall with a busy diary of events organised by the committee. Oxham Hall is also available to hire to anyone who needs a venue for their own private event or activity. The hall is managed and cared for by an elected committee of volunteers who dedicate their own time to ensure that this attractive, historic building remains in good and safe condition and is available for the benefit of everyone in the community.
